By day, an administrative assistant. By night, an Internet surfer. Wait, no. A writer. Yeah, that’s it. A writer.

After a long and distinguished career in the grocery industry, E.M. Anderson graduated college with a BA in English and two master’s degrees. Now she works as an administrative assistant in the college of arts & sciences at her old university. If she ever thinks she wants a PhD, no she doesn’t.

E’s work has appeared in Dark Horses: The Magazine of Weird Fiction and SJ Whitby’s anthology Awakenings, with more forthcoming from GutSlut Press and Hansen House Books. Her interests include stupid puns, cemeteries, and old trees. She is an old lady in disguise and did not mean to like your sad Facebook status.

E is also a contributing blogger for editor Kimberly Hunt. For craft posts and writing tips, visit the Revision Division blog. A complete list of E’s guest posts for this blog can be found at the end of the archives.
